@dustymabe @bengal anyway, to get over 180 seconds, you would have to tweak the systemd service timeout, otherwise that timeout hits.

Which timeout is it, TimeoutStartSec=? Or RuntimeMaxSec=? From what I understand, they are disabled by default for units of type oneshot.

I tried to boot with ip=dhcp rd.net.timeout.dhcp=600 without a DHCP server and the boot took 10 minutes as expected.
