  • Inspect with Wireshark, sometimes there're ISO IN packets with 1 byte data, and Wireshark marks them with "illegal byte sequence".
  • Android stop playing once it gets a garbage packet.

Also on an Intel IvyBridge laptop running Linux 4.19.69, the USB audio device keeps disconnecting and re-connecting.
dmesg shows the following :

usb usb2-port1: disabled by hub (EMI?), re-enabling...
