Slugathon is a free (licensed under the GPLv2) clone of the classic Avalon Hill boardgame Titan. The focus is on playing against other humans across the Internet.

Sorry, it’s still not playable yet. (I expect it will be fairly soon. Really. Check the issue tracker, and see how few bugs are left with “alpha” status.) If you want to play Titan on your computer right now, check out Colossus.

But it’s not complete vaporware either — there’s quite a bit of code, which you can see using the Source or Commit links at the top of the page, or by cloning the repository.

Slugathon is written in Python, using Twisted for the networking and PyGTK for the GUI. The work is all done on Linux, but it’ll be portable to Windows and MacOS as well before release.

Please don’t start reporting bugs or requesting features yet, as the basic functionality is not yet complete.
