Crashes while extracting the executable and breaks the app. The only fix is to clear app data and start again with just Wargus and/or War1gus. I'm using the latest steam version.

I have the same issue, I'm on 3.0.0-dev2
I copied data over from the most recent Wargus on PC, where Warcraft 2 loads just fine.
I used the data from War2 bnet edition to convert to Wargus data on pc.
I chose the correct folder on my phone, but when I hit start game, the app crashes.
No matter what I do it just doesn't load.

This is not connected to this issue. Possible reason it crashes because you use Android 10+ (Google restricted APIs to access files on external storage). Use version 3.2.0-dev1 from releases. Package your game data in zip archive, upload to internal storage, and choose this archive in Stratagus.
