I'm trying to get the USB Interface to be a DHCP Client. My Oneplus6T is directly connected to a router (OpenWRT) via USB.
I can make it work manually after boot-up. Via simple ip or nmcli commands, but my configuration is lost after reboot. Tried looking at mtp-configfs.service. It seems to me that this service is run after the network is configured. So my previously configured interface has NO-CARRIER.
I guess I somehow need the build-inn rndis configuration to get a rndis0 interface. But how can I overwrite it to become a regular DHCP Client? Alternativly with a static IP within my existing subnet.
