Using drowe67/codec2@0515645, I did the following:

  1. Uncheck squelch checkbox.
  2. Play ve9qrp_700c.wav without incoming audio from radio.
  3. Stop playback (Tools->Stop Play File - From Radio).

SNR drops to -5 but sync indicator remains green. Additionally, I still hear a hiss from the speakers. This is the case both with multi-RX on and off.
