came up in #160 . I guess we could have
DUECREDIT_OLD_RECORDS with values

  • load - current (loads upon start)
  • remove - would rm file upon start, so nothing would be loaded, and nothing might get saved if application crashes etc, thus leaving no .duecredit.p
  • overwrite - would not load upon start, but then would overwrite existing one upon exit
