What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Send message
2.Receive message
3.use "markAsRead" or "mar" command to mark message as read

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I suppose the notification (about unread message) should disappear, but instead
nothing happens.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
gtalksms 1.3.2 on Samsung Galaxy S running Android 2.1

Please provide any additional information below.
I'm using jabber.org account on gtalksms and I'm communicating with it with my
gmail-account. I receive the message from gtalksms saying "Mark ****'s sms as
read" but nothing happens.

There's also possibility that I'm missing something here and using this feature
incorrectly.

Hello, it's not a bug.
SMS are well marked as read, but notification are still here...
It's caused by your sms manager.
If you open your SMS tool, you're going to see sms marked as read.

I'll see if we can reset sms notifications for all sms tools, but I think that
is not possible.

I see. Thanks for the information.

Clearing sms notifications or forcing the sms manager to update (to check if
there's need for notifications -> unread mail) somehow would be great. Thank
you for your effort.
