Thank you for nice idea @s0kil, however, I'm not sure...
Based on #999 answer - it may sound ridiculous, but I want to do something for humanity - I want to help students, researchers and (smart) people. I want to grow community around MindForger over time and let it take off...
I don't need financial contributions to work on MindForger - it's my passion and I do it for personal pleasure. My reward are emails and messages from satisfied users who made exams (thanks to MF), use MF fo research/project or simply enjoy using it.
This is way MindForger is free, it's open source, there is no side channel (mining user data, tracking them, ...) which would bring money... I simply want to make it open so that the community can grow.
I think you did not understand my point. I want to propose a donation platform, not to monitize MindForger, if people really enjoy using this tool, then they can donate money to this project, and in return you don't have to worry about any financial problems, you can spend more time working on MindForger.
For example, I'm sure you are familiar with the GNU foundation, the software is free for anyone, but they also have a donation page, for anyone who has a desire to contribute financially.
Are you interested in having an Open Collective where anyone can contribute to this project financially?
