Plugin sort order of events by sort field in events table

We have the target to sort the events in a plugin output by an individual order. The order should be set by the standard sort field of the events database table.

Are there work arounds today? Eventually by Typoscript?

If I understand you right, this should already be possible by setting the plugin.tx_t3events.performance.list.order in TypoScript:

I mean to sort Events (not Performances).

The same setting should work for the EventController. Please try to set plugin.tx_t3events.event.list.order
