Building OD from source should be as easy as running a build.sh script. Everything in README.rst should be automated away, if possible.

  • If dylan-compiler is not found, download it and install it.
  • If MPS or bdwgc (as appropriate) aren't found, install them (with prompt).
    etc etc

When complete it should say where the binaries and logs are and whatever else might be useful.
