I have been working on setting up server for DFKI's fork of the e-mission server, which uses the GIS based mode detection branch. In order to make the setup easier and reproducible, a relevant server docker container would be of great value.

I don't have an image for the GIS-based mode detection yet, but I do have an example for just checking out the GIS branch into an existing image (https://github.com/e-mission/e-mission-docker/tree/master/examples/em-server-multi-tier-cronjob).
I also wrote up step-by-step instructions for using the multi-tier setup while setting up the DFKI server
https://github.com/e-mission/e-mission-docs/blob/master/docs/install/deploying_production_docker.md

I will leave this open for now while I work on creating the image, but you should be unblocked for now.
