iOS: [isMultiple]="true" cannot select items #53

For some reason when multiple/isMultiple is set true, the list items can be tapped (::active state is triggered on the item) but the items are not selecting off/on. Can anyone verify this is not an isolated issue? Bug appears on actual device as well as simulator.

ionic v3.20
ionic-select-searchable 2.2.1

A blank starter project does not share this problem.. apologies, will look in my code.
