wikicode = mwparserfromhell.parse('test<!--first comment-->test<!--run-on comment')

wikicode.strip_code()
'testtest<!--run-on comment'

wikicode.filter_comments()
['<!--first comment-->']

This is not consistent with the behavior of MediaWiki, which recognizes the second comment, yielding "testtest" as the parsed result.

(Reproduced under mwparserfromhell 0.5.4, see also this Jupyter notebook)
