What problem does the feature request solve?

A lot of unused storage being cleared when installing Northstar

When installing Northstar via R2MM, three folders are created

  1. Northstar in the R2MM profile directory
  2. Northstar in the Titanfall2 directory
  3. R2Northstar (moved from the Northstar/R2Northstar directory, unsure of if the one in the R2MM profile directory or the Titanfall2 directory is used) in the R2MM profile directory

Due to an error earlier posted on the Northstar Discord server, it appears the Northstar folder in the Titanfall2 directory is the one used to launch the game. As far as I can tell, the Northstar folder in the R2MM profile directory simply sits there and doesn't do anything.

This could be to easier move the R2Northstar folder in the R2MM profile directory when installing Northstar, but I don't entirely think that's necessary (and, if it was, it could just be deleted afterwards)

Assuming we're keeping the Northstar folder in the game directory, my suggestion for this is as follows:

  1. When installing Northstar, only install the Northstar folder to the Titanfall2 directory
  2. Move the Northstar/R2Northstar from the Titanfall2 directory to be in the R2MM profile directory
  3. Delete the R2Nortshtar folder from the Northstar folder in the Titanfall2 directory. This won't matter as the R2Northstar folder will be replaced by the one used in the R2MM profile directory

Or, if you would rather keep more things in the R2MM profile directory than in the game directory:

  1. When installing Northstar, only install the Northstar folder to the R2MM profile directory
  2. Move the Northstar/R2Northstar folder from the R2MM profile directory to the root of the R2MM profile directory
  3. Delete the R2Northstar folder from the Northstar folder in the R2MM profile directory. Reasoning is the same as the above example

Additional information
Not necessarily a huge deal, but deleting unused files would be nice. If this folder serves a purpose, I'd love to be proven wrong, but regardless I think only one install should be used.

1.5gb of storage is used in total when R2MM installs just the base Northstar, which is more than my manual installation with over 20 mods installed, doubled (this is because the core mods are ~500mb, and there are three copies of it). Deleting the unused copies removes the unused storage R2MM creates by 1gb

Please let me know if I need to clear something up in my wording
