@IbrahimFradj, I couldn't understand the issue. By "time navigator" are you referring to the selection range marking or the horizontal scrollbar?
In the first image the chart is zoomed-in, so the selection range occupies a smaller portion of the whole time range, while in the "expected result" image looks like the chart is completely zoomed-out, hence the selection range occupies almost the whole range. I believe this is by design, unless I completely misunderstood you.
@mirsky-work The screenshots I showed are to show us that the horizontal scroll bar does not shrink anymore when you zoom too much. you can notice it by the lighter color when you select a time range(with left click).
Another problem is that when you zoom in/out and the scroll bar does not shrink, it looks like you are panning.
I see, thanks for the clarification.
The navigator bar has a minimal width, otherwise it can become too thin and unusable. It was first introduced in eclipse-cdt-cloud/timeline-chart#46.
The panning behavior when reaching the maximal zoom is probably a bug.
When we zoom in sufficiently, we notice that the time navigator is not the right length. The length of the time navigator is longer than the view.
Here is the issue :
