Description

Provide documentation to be clear on how we can use it, how to set up, what use cases it support or not. Describe as a user story the complete flow of a developer experience.
Documentation should provide a factory URL with Che + Theia + selfhosting + sample plugins to test self hosting so that user could try user stories and flow.
What we support:

  • hot reload ?
  • plugins + extensions development ?

Plan for the futur

Issue created after discussion eclipse/che-theia-hosted-plugin-manager-extension#6 (comment)

Documentation should go to Che public documentation. README files of projects related to self hosting should contains links to this doc.

Issues go stale after 180 days of inactivity. lifecycle/stale issues rot after an additional 7 days of inactivity and eventually close.

Mark the issue as fresh with /remove-lifecycle stale in a new comment.

If this issue is safe to close now please do so.

Moderators: Add lifecycle/frozen label to avoid stale mode.
