bugSomething isn't workingbugzillaIssues migrated from Eclipse bugzilla.QueryIssues related to the query component of VIATRA, including runtime or pattern language issues.
This issue is about a problem during the setup of the VQ development platform and not a bug in the VQ implementation.
Based on https://wiki.eclipse.org/VIATRA/DeveloperDocumentation/DevEnvironment, the first step of the oomph setup is to choose either Modeling or Committer as the platform. When Modeling is chosen (and the other follow-up steps are taken) then the oomph setup fails during the construction of the Eclipse installation because conflicting versions of some sirius plugin are brought in. Oomph cannot resolve the conflict, and thus refuses to proceed. The same issue does not happen if the Committer platform is chosen at the very first step.
