Thanks for the pull request, @leveque! I've created OSPR-4094 to keep track of it in JIRA. JIRA is a place for product owners to prioritize feature reviews by the engineering development teams.

Feel free to add as much of the following information to the ticket:

  • supporting documentation
  • edx-code email threads
  • timeline information ("this must be merged by XX date", and why that is)
  • partner information ("this is a course on edx.org")
  • any other information that can help Product understand the context for the PR

All technical communication about the code itself will still be done via the GitHub pull request interface. As a reminder, our process documentation is here.

We can't start reviewing your pull request until you've submitted a signed contributor agreement or indicated your institutional affiliation. Please see the CONTRIBUTING file for more information.

@leveque Thank you for the contribution! When you have a chance, could you please send in a signed Contributor Agreement mentioned in the earlier comment? You only need to do this once and we can then review all your future code contributions. Thanks

My institutional affiliation is Sorbonne Université, Paris, France. Is there already an agreement between edX and my institution ?

@natabene

@leveque According to our records, we don't have an agreement with this Institution.
If you are submitting code, written for a project, sponsored by Sorbonne Université, or as part of your work at Sorbonne Université, we will need to sign an Entity Agreement with Sorbonne Université before we can review and merge this code. Let me know if this is the case andI will send it to you.
If you submit code, created as part of your personal/private project, you need to sign the Individual Agreement, mentioned in the first message.
Please let me know if you have any questions, I am happy to help.

If you don't have the previous institution, Université Pierre et Marie Curie, which was merged into Sorbonne Université, we will have to make the Entity Agreement. Do you confirm you don't have UPMC either ?

@natabene

@leveque Correct, we don't have Université Pierre et Marie Curie or UPMC on our records. Please find Entity Agreement attached.
