Here we introduce a new way to classifying words to support memorization, and entirely avoid classical grammatical grouping. For example, words that indicate spatial or temporal aspects, are grouped together into visual maps.

The below list is an indication of how the categorization of words may look like. Each category consist of sub-categories, which are the basis for frequently used wordlists in that context. For example:

  • time
    • seasons
    • clock
    • calendar (days, months)
    • descriptive (e.g. "past and future" or "not yet")
    • metrics

Below a non-exhaustive list of categories with indications of sub-categories:

  • space
    • distances
    • sizes
    • dimensions
  • human/persons
    • courtesy
    • family
    • professions
    • hierarchy
  • preferences
  • possessions
  • doing/activities
  • quantitative
  • qualitative
  • Questions/enquiry
  • transformation
  • natural phenomena
  • cultural activities
  • shopping/transactional
  • etiquettes
  • relations
  • food
  • senses
    • sounds
    • smells
    • sensations
    • tastes
    • sights

The goal is to focus on categories that are human-centered, as opposed to grammar, which is mechanical.
