Built-in alarm input output in the camera

Is it possible to add a switch for dio? My camera has alarm input and output contacts, how can I use mqtt to make a switch to turn on and off? And also use the input as a binary sensor status?

In the blue iris, I can control the dia through the right mouse button on the camera in the digital output item

I haven't ever worked with DIO but there is already a sensor for getting the status (via mqtt). See the manual that elad-bar put together for more info.
As for a switch to control it from HA, the integration doesn't expose anything like that. No doubt it could be added programmatically but I can't say I know how to do so :(
