Release webcam/displayMedia stream when user clicks "upload"?

I already mentioned that it's suboptimal to keep webcam/display stream active while on the post-recording page. The user might feel spied on, it takes up CPU resources AND the webcam cannot be used by other applications on the PC. However, I agree that for the scenario "user dislikes recording and wanna redo it", it would be really unfortunate if the user always has to reselect webcams and stuff.

But maybe it's fine to release these streams when the user clicks "upload". The upload should take a while and uploading usually means that the user is happy with the recording. Opinions?
