Would be very, very nice to have - especially since Basic Auth is supported. Possible configuration could be:

default[:nginx][:use_ssl]       = false
default[:nginx][:force_ssl]     = false
default[:nginx][:ssl_cert_path] = "/path/to/public.crt"
default[:nginx][:ssl_key_path]  = "/path/to/private.key"
