Kibana version: 5.5.0

Elasticsearch version: 5.5.0

Server OS version: Ubuntu

Browser version: IE11

Browser OS version: Windows 10

Original install method (e.g. download page, yum, from source, etc.): .deb packages

Description of the problem including expected versus actual behavior:
After you click the Load 5 more older documents button on the bottom of the "surrounding docs" feature of Discover, the arrow on the button (which normally points down) starts spinning as soon as you click it and doesn't stop for a long time. Much longer than it takes to load the documents. Potentially for several minutes. Mine is still spinning the whole time I write this issue. One time it stopped when I moused over it. But I just tried that again and it didn't stop. Sometimes it doesn't seem to spin at all?

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Using IE11, go to Discover and select a time-based index pattern
  2. expand a doc in the lower pane and click on the View surrounding documents link
  3. click the V Load 5 more button
  4. see if the V arrow spins and if it ever stops.

NOTE: I tried it with the IE 11 console open and I only got the correct spinning circle progress indicator. Then I closed the IE console and still only got the correct spinning circle indicator. Then I refreshed the whole browser page (with the IE console closed) and got the spinning arrow again.

Here's a gif with the IE console open (off screen) where you see the correct spinning circle progress indicator;

Closing this, as we no longer support IE11.
