Edit Data point Values

Describe the feature:
Edit functionality for data points in any chart. User should be able to customize data shown in data points if he/she hovers over them.
Data points should be able to show the data for which we are plotting the graph respective to it's axis.
Describe a specific use case for the feature:
If we are plotting a time series data on a line chart. When we hover on a particular data point, instead of just showing count and date for that instant, it should be able to show the data itself.
For instance, if we are monitoring a model and we want to plot a graph which shows new labels count for a particular variable respective of time. Data points should also be able to show the values of the labels for that variable.

I think this is a duplicate of #106024 #60366 elastic/elastic-charts#296 that we are working on at the chart level in elastic/elastic-charts#615

If I understood it correctly, the requirement is to show additional/contextual data related to that datapoint. There is one particular concept that I like to highlight: Kibana visualization works mostly on top of aggregations, so a single data point represents an aggregation of 1, but most of the time, multiple documents at the same time. It will be possible specify one or more metrics to display for each single data point, but it will be way harder to allow the user displaying full docs or a nigh number of elements there: the reason is that the tooltip is not the best place to display additional information.
Right now you can click on a datapoint to add a filter for that particular time interval and category/value, this can filter a table with all your required and filtered dataset. I know that is a bit annoying because it is not an quick process, but we are considering improving this cross-filtering capabilities without the need to interact directly with dashboard filters.

Please reopen this if differs from the linked duplicates and provide a more detailed idea about what data you are looking to render on the tooltip.
