Qucik Details/Actions sub window for Indices tab in "Index Management"

Describe the feature:
Have a slide out / sub window that opens for quick details and actions on an index so that tasks can be done quicker, and user doesn't lose their session data by having to go to a new window. (Kibana 8.12)
Describe a specific use case for the feature:
Currently I am working on updating the attached ILM policy for a bunch of indices that have and ILM error. Right now I have to go to data streams, select the indices attached to that data stream and then open a whole new window for that index that shows all the verbose details of the index, and I don't even see the ILM status until I click onto the very last tab. Once I have removed and added ILM policy, if I try to go back, Ihave to start my search for the datastream/indices all over again. All session data has been lost. This causes this already tedious task to be exponentially more tedious.
The old sub window that used to pop out was very handy. I like the verbose dedicated detail window as well, but for certain applications, the quick view/actions slide out windows was great.
If there is a way to apply both so there is an option for the dedicated window or the quick view, that would be awesome.

Hi @ebonybubbles - thank you for the feedback! It's an interesting idea to have a "quick view" and something we will keep in mind. That said, I believe we might be able to address some of your concerns already. Let me know what you think.

This was unfortunately a bug, but has been resolved via #173637.

Once I have removed and added ILM policy

Have you considered leveraging this action from the table view? That might save you a few steps, unless there is specific information you're looking for from the ILM details view?
