Summary

In the following rules, when we try to close the flyout without modification, it shows Discard unsaved changes to rule? pop up:

  • Custom threshold rule
  • ES Query rule

I suspect this might be due to the default data view selection. In APM rules, even when a service is chosen by default, the flyout can be closed without showing unsaved changes pop up:
