Collapse Feature Error in Lens Metrics on Kibana 8.13.3

Describe the bug:
After upgrading from Kibana version 8.6.1 to 8.13.3, the collapse feature in Lens metrics returns an error when there is no data available. The error message displayed is "C.current[0] is undefined." This issue did not occur in the previous version.

Steps to reproduce:

• Open Kibana and navigate to Lens metrics.
• Configure a visualization with the collapse feature set to 'Sum'.
• Select a time frame where no data is available.

Expected behavior:
The visualization should handle the absence of data gracefully without throwing an error, similar to the behavior in version 8.6.1.

Thank you for this, is definitely a regression coming from #168651. I can reproduce it locally.
