This was discovered while running Kibana 5.6 with X-Pack monitoring in the Shard Activity table. The issue is an odd one that was caught by chance:

This may require a fix in the library that we use to format time ranges, or possibly just an upgrade of the library (which given that we're in 6.3, may have already happened).
