Describe the feature:

when canvas is embed the side control area cannot be hidden, unlike other kibana vis.

Describe a specific use case for the feature:

It would be nice to put something in production, but the side bar is preventing it to happen.

It would be nice to be able to target a specific Canvas URL and have it automatically go into "Fullscreen" mode. There is a button for this in the current 6.5 version of Kibana, but there is no way for it to go into this through a URL parameter.

We want to be able to target this URL from a MVix digital signage screen, but it does not appear to allow for this type of "Kiosk" mode setup. This is a deal breaker for us.

Other tools like Grafana offer this type of feature to allow for this kind of production implementation.

It would be a nice feature.

We're interested in this as well.

We are extremely interested as well.. In order to embed canvas reports on our own tools. Under my point of view this should be a must and will make canvas even more useful.
