Zoom to layer on Kibana Maps

Within a Kibana Map it would be great to have a button that would zoom to the extent of data on a given layer. Similar to the button which is available on Coordinate Map Visualizations

@anottrott, the "Fit to Data" layer action should do this.

Also, if you wanted to manually zoom into particular coordinates and zoom level, you can use the "Go to" button at the bottom of your screen.

Do either of those meet your needs?
