File upload request Timed out #45358

Kibana version: 7.2

Elasticsearch version: 7.2

Server OS version: RHEL 7.6

Browser version: Brave Version 0.68.132 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Browser OS version: Chromium: 76.0.3809.132

Original install method (e.g. download page, yum, from source, etc.): from source

Description of the problem including expected versus actual behaviour:

  • Expected: The 30MB file should have been uploaded smoothly.
  • Actual: Got the issue, File could not be read Request Time-out

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Kibana --> Machine Learning --> Data Visualizer
  2. Uploaded a 30MB file
  3. Request timed out

Errors in browser console (if relevant):

Provide logs and/or server output (if relevant):

Did the timeout happen after selecting the file, as in, while it was being analysed? Or when attempting to import the data into elasticsearch?

Would it be possible to see an example of the data contained in the file? The first few lines would be useful.

I will mask the data and share. In the mean time, there are 70 columns and 40,000 rows in the csv file. By reducing the file size to first 20 rows and first 5 columns i'm able to upload.
