The default for kibana is to load 500 documents in the discover view. I know this is configurable, but most of the time it's more than enough.

For the times that it's not enough, and I want to scroll through my logs, I would like there to be a button/link at the bottom of the discover page with the caption "Load more" that will call elastic search with the same query with paging ( {from: 500, size: 500} ) and so on.

I'm closing this because we've created a log context view which allows you to load documents beyond the 500-document limit in Discover.
