@hbharding One thing I would like to see here is that behind each action on the getting started we have a link. For example Install a package takes you to the package manager, enroll agent to the Agent page.

Hey I updated these a few days ago but forgot to leave a comment until now. I decided to go with the simplest approach possible so that it is manageable for alpha 1. It's basically a page with numbers that provides an overview of how Ingest Manager is being used. For a first time user, most of the numbers will be 0. I removed the notion of a getting started / onboarding experience because that's something I want to focus on / get right for the beta. In lieu of that, I've added a prominent "Enroll new agents" button in the header area, which is a logical way for a user to get started. By taking this first action, the user is introduced to concepts like "agent config", "enrollment key", "data sources", etc.
