This bug is new in 7.7, and is caused by changed suggestion logic in this release.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Drag a keyword field into Lens to get a Top values of keyword qery
  2. Drag a numeric field into Lens, and it will select "Average of number"
  3. An error message appears

To fix this problem, the Lens data source should update the sort order of the Top values operation when building this suggestion.
