Description
Drop Down is opened again after selecting the timeline template under the create new rule.

Browser Details:
All

Preconditions:

  1. Elastic stack should be up and running
  2. Auditbeat should be installed and running.
  3. Timeline template should be created.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Navigate to the Detection tab of security
  2. Click on manage and detection rules.
  3. Click on create a new rule.
  4. Select custom query and click on the Timeline template field.
  5. Select the timeline template and observe that drop down is opened again after selecting the timeline template under the create new rule.

Impacted Test case:
N/A

Actual Result:
Drop Down is opened again after selecting the timeline template under the create a new rule.

Expected Result:
Drop Down should not be opened again after selecting the timeline template under the create a new rule.

What's working:
This issue is not occurring on 7.10.2.

What's not working:
N/A

HI @MadameSheema

we have validated this issue on 7.13.0 BC4 and Issue is still occuring . The Template drop-down should be closed after select any value from templates down down.

Snap-Shoot:

  • Create rule
  • Enter * in search bar
  • Under Timeline Template
  • Select Generic process timeline
  • Expected observation: The pop-up should be closed after user selects any timeline template from that drop-down.

We have validated this ticket on 7.15.0-SNAPSHOT build and found that issue is Still Occurring.
