As noted in elastic/logstash#12228 , the _node/pipelines?graph=true output is useful for tracing metrics back to the particular plugins they are associated with. See the referenced issue for an example. It would be helpful to retrieve this output as part of the logstash diagnostics.

What version is that API first available in?

@pickypg regarding the version, per the linked issue elastic/logstash#12228 (comment) :

Starting with 7.6.0 it's possible to fetch link an auto generated ID of a plugin to its declaration, through the information from the Logstash APIs
