stuck on closing daemon and 3 remaining processes after that

V1.1.2 Windows 10 64bit
-Stuck on "closing daemon" screen
-need to click on the icon in windows right bar
-Wallet finally closed but 3 processes remaining in task manager (Electrad OFF and 3 E. desktop ON)

It's not systematic, i already had this one, It worked the next time.

I have experience it on "Opening Daemon." It goes on for over an hour and never opened. Just a purple box with those two words hanging on my screen.

Why does the wallet not simply open up and then update to the network? Why does it go down to the right tray in my toolbar and I have to enlarge? I am having to put everything back on my old QT wallet. At least I could open that up and it updated to the network as current and I had access to coins and could get my coins from exchange to the wallet. With the new wallet I can't even open it after the first time....always "opening daemon."
