What format is the LCD screen firmware source in ?

The link above I think is the source package for the LCD. What app was used to create/edit the HMI file? The Nextion editor does not recognize the file.

I have the same question. Tried google for the past hour to find something suitable reading the file. I was not successful apart from finding the Nextion editor which can't open the file.

To work with the source code of the display, a program update may be required.
