Consider showing unread indicator even on the initial view of a room

Is your suggestion related to a problem? Please describe.
When I'm switch to a room with only a few unread messages, it's difficult to find where I left off reading. If the number of unread messages increased enough that my last read one is off the screen then there's a friendly line that acts as a visual cue to where I should pick up again.

Could we cue that friendly line even if the last message I read is still on screen?
