Your use case

What would you like to do?

When in image view mode (after clicking on an image in the timeline) I would like to be able to pinch/strech to adjust the zoom level, and to scroll horizontally and vertically.

Instead the vertical scroll controls the zoom level today. I need to click to drag the image to see the details I want, which is a little cumbersome and less natural as compared to two fingers swipes on a touchpad.

Why would you like to do it?

To have a consistent behaviour with most of the applications I use.

How would you like to achieve it?

Your bug report seems to suggest you're using one mobile application
Could you confirm what platform you're using and whether you're using the web version or the native app?

This behaviour is on Element Desktop on macOS :)
