We want to guarantee that anyone who starts a jitsi widget from within a deployed versioned build of the Riot client knows who is hosting that jitsi instance.

Some of the existing widget warnings might well be enough for this purpose.

The current state is:

  • Voice / video call buttons never have and do not currently show prompts
  • Jitsi widgets do trigger a prompt in web, but it talks about sharing data with Riot (because it hosts the widget wrapper), not the underlying Jitsi host:
