Picture in picture doesn't show up when switching workspaces

What Happened?

Normally when you've enabled picture in picture on a window and a different window get's focus the picture in picture shows up. But when moving to a different workspace it doesn't trigger the picture and picture to show up. You have to go back to the workspace with the "picture in pictured" window, and focus a different window in the same workspace. Only then the picture in picture shows up and it remains when you switch to a different workspace.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open 2 applications in your first workspace.
2. Press CMD+P and draw a rectangle over one of the applications (the picture in picture shows up)
3. Focus this application (the picture in picture is hidden)
4. Switch to your second workspace (the picture in picture remains hidden)

Expected Behavior

The picture in picture should show up, because I can't see the original application / window anymore.

I expect the picture in picture to only be hidden when the window has focus in your current workspace.

This looks very similar to #1700 which has been fixed and the fix was released. Are you using stable OS 7 or daily?

Ah that's great!

I'm using stable, so this is probably fixed with the next Gala release.

I guess #1700 didn't show up in my search because they never used "picture in picture".
