- Run heroku config:add PROJECT_NAME_ENV=PROD --app app_name
- Add AWS information in "config/settings_prod.py"
- Create an Amazon S3 bucket called "project_name"
- Run heroku config:add S3_BUCKET_NAME=project_name --app app_name
- Run heroku config:add AWS_ACCESS_KEY_ID=your_access_key_id --app app_name
- Run heroku config:add AWS_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY=your_secret_access_key --app app_name
- Run git push git@heroku.com:app_name.git master
- Run heroku run python manage.py syncdb --app app_name
- Run heroku run python manage.py migrate --app app_name
- Run heroku run python manage.py collectstatic --noinput --app app_name
- Run heroku run python manage.py createsuperuser --app app_name
- Your production site should now be running at app_name.herokuapp.com. Enjoy!
