How do I change the framerate that children of blender_imgui.BlenderImguiOverlay update in? By default they slowdown Blender A LOT, making the viewport sluggish

Ive actually been using BlenderImguiOverlay also for my modal operators. Would be awesome if there was a way of making it match the update rate of the modal somehow
