Hello there. I just can't import files from Maps, same for Google Earth. I got the correct versions installed.

I ran into the same issue when exporting models from Google Earth with the same version of Blender, RenderDoc, and the importer.

When using an older version of Google Chrome, I did manage to get it working. Can you try Chromium 107.0.5304.0?

Hi there, thanks for the tip.
I tried it. Chrome starts and give me de PID. I inject RenderDoc into it, but Chrome begins to change the GPU PID (about 3, 4 times), I keep injecting but RenderDoc isn't cappable of capturing anything...

I had the same issue because I forgot to launch via "cmd" and run set RENDERDOC_HOOK_EGL=0. I don't think that's related to this issue.

  1. I have the same issue with Google Earth described in this ticket.
  2. I confirmed that data from google maps is imported correctly.
  3. I'm running
  • BlenderDoc 1.31
  • Blender 4.1.1
  • MapsModelsImporter 0.7.0
  • Chrome 124.0.6367.208
