Yeah, I've been seeing the same issue while trying to convert the elixir textmate package over the past couple days - there are actually a few errors that the conversion introduces that have to be fixed - i'vemade it though a few, but not all.

@rjsamson this package was created from the Texmate bundle too. Feel free to throw a few PRs with the fixes that you done so far

My version here https://github.com/rjsamson/language-elixir syntax highlights if you open an elixir file, but gets the same error when trying to type (interestingly enough I was able to type when inside of a HEREDOC)
