Just noting that name="stuffz" is deprecated in HTML5

The Gospel According to Teh Validator - "Warning: The name attribute is obsolete. Consider putting an id attribute on the nearest container instead."

We currently have 1,458 examples of it in 62 files, in themes/default, with another 143 examples in 37 files in sources, plus a few stragglers in install.

Luvverly.

I think thats only for anchors ... its still fine on inputs, forms, etc .... still a PITA but should be able to just change anchor names to id's

Ah. Appears you're right. Ok, that cuts the list quite a bit.

Closing this. I went through all the hits for the name attribute, and it appears the only relevant ones were the two for the "new" anchors in Display.template.php.

Have killed those on local, so will be in my next update. Figured I might as well lose the issue while I remember.
