Tried to install 2.4 using QGIS package manager, unable to do so because

The plugin seems to be invalid or have unfulfilled dependencies. It has been installed, but can't be loaded. If you really need this plugin, you can contact its author...

Python said, 'module' object has no attribute 'classFactory'
I'm running 1.8.0 on Mac OSX 10.7.5 with QGIS installed via homebrew.

Cannot reproduce: the plugin installs fine on 1.8.0 on a fresh install on Linux.
