EmbarkIt Open Source Project Code of Conduct

Purpose

The EmbarkIt Open Source Project is dedicated to providing a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative environment for all contributors. This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations and guidelines for participation in our community.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to creating a positive environment include:

  • Respect: Treat others with respect and kindness. Be considerate of differing opinions, experiences, and backgrounds.

  • Inclusivity: Welcome and support individuals of all backgrounds, regardless of their race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, religion, disability, or other protected status.

  • Collaboration: Strive for collaboration and constructive contributions. Be open to feedback and willing to learn from others.

  • Professionalism: Conduct yourself in a professional manner. Avoid offensive or inappropriate language and behavior.

Unacceptable Behavior

Examples of unacceptable behavior include, but are not limited to:

  • Harassment: Harassment and discrimination in any form are not tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to, offensive comments, unwelcome advances, and intimidation.

  • Hate Speech: Hate speech, derogatory language, and any form of discrimination are not acceptable within our community.

  • Disruptive Behavior: Any behavior that disrupts the collaborative and positive nature of our community is not allowed.

Reporting Violations

If you witness or experience behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please contact the project maintainers at conduct@embarkit.com. All reports will be kept confidential.

Enforcement

Project maintainers are responsible for enforcing the Code of Conduct. They have the right and responsibility to address and resolve issues, including removing or banning contributors who engage in unacceptable behavior.

By participating in the EmbarkIt Open Source Project, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct. Your involvement contributes to creating a welcoming and positive experience for all community members.
